Audrey Brooke Leopard Satchel from DSW

I am so excited about my new handbag, Audrey Brooke's Leopard Satchel, that I couldn't keep this fabulous find to myself. The photo doesn't do this bag justice, so I shot a video to highlight its prettiness.

Besides being extremely cute (doesn't it look designer?), well made and roomy, it was also crazy affordable. I would value this bag at about $200-250, but I snagged it for less than $100. It's on sale at DSW for $129.95, but if you buy it online, you can use coupon codes to get a great deal. The awesome thing about DSW.com is that you can combine codes. By combining some random codes I researched online and cashing in some coupons I received as a DSW Rewards member (sign up...it's free!), I saved $30 and got free shipping. Here are some codes to get you started:

SHOPTIME: Spend $74 get $15 off, spend $149 get $30 off,spend $199 get $50 off [Expires 10/17]

SHIPR: Free standard shipping on purchases of $35+ [Exp.06/20/12 - Valid only for logged-in DSW Rewards members]

The Leopard Satchel is also available with camel leather. If this bag is a bit big for you, Audrey Brooke has a similar, smaller Leopard Cross Body Bag. And with all the cash you're saving, you might want to snatch up a matching wallet.

OMG I Just Bought...

I don’t know about you, but when I go shopping and find something really awesome, I can’t wait to tell everyone I know because a) I want others to be as impressed with my shopping prowess as I am and b) I want my friends to purchase that item too – so they can share in my retail euphoria. When someone compliments something I’m wearing, even though I know "Thank you" would suffice, I launch into a soliloquy – rattling off the designer, where I bought it, how much I paid and the coupon I used (I’m a coupon crazy nut).

If you’re like me and love to spill the deets on your shopping feats, here’s a website to add to your Favorites list...

At OMG I just bought… you confess your most recent purchases for a chance to win weekly prizes from your favorite stores. How fun is that?

I just posted about my recent fedora purchase at Banana Republic and about the super cute flats I scored this past weekend at DSW. Go me!

Urban Expressions Axel Studded Wallet

Okay, okay. I realize that I'm on a wallet kick lately. Even though I already bought an uber cute leopard print Felix Rey wallet, I just couldn't resist this one from Urban Expressions that I discovered at my local DSW. For only about $20, I picked up a dead ringer for the $395 Be & D Garbo Stud Wallet (seen below)!

Bare Traps Trystine Boot: Stylish Answer to the Wide Calf Conundrum

If you have wide calves like me, you know how physically and emotionally exhausting it can be to shop for tall boots. The funny thing is that my calves aren't even that fat. It's as if shoe designers are making boots for anorexic appendages...or trying to embarrass all of us thick-legged sistas so that we struggle, in vain, zipping up a cute boot while all these other heffas simply just slip them on.

Anyway, I lucked out a few weeks ago when I purchased these super cute boots at DSW.com. I first spied the Trystine Wide Calf Boots by Bare Traps at my local DSW store, but they didn't have my size in stock. So when I returned home, I logged onto dsw.com and ordered a pair.

The store's limited size offerings actually worked out in my favor because I used three coupon codes (920 for 10% off, SHIPR for free standard shipping, and 919 for 500 bonus points added to my DSW Rewards account). So the $59.99 boots ended up only costing me $53.96 - and I'm closer to my next rewards certificate.

The Trystine boot, while synthetic, look like the real thing. The heel is high enough to elongate and visually slim the leg, yet low enough that they're comfortable all day long. The boot shaft circumference is roomy enough that I can wear them over leggings and skinny jeans. I can also pair them with skirts and dresses.

And for those of you lucky enough to have average sized calves, the Trystine Boot comes in a regular width too.

Chinese Laundry Sweet Revenge Jelly Ballet Flats

I am so enamored with my Chinese Laundry Sweet Revenge jelly ballet flats. Last week, when I was tired and ready to conclude my shopping excursion to DSW, my mom spotted these rhinestoned lovelies and it was love at first sight. They come in clear and smoke (I purchased the latter)- and when I wore them yesterday, two women actually stopped me on the street and asked where I got my kicks.

I Made Out Like A Bandit at DSW!

Unfortunately, I inherited flat, fat feet from Mama Spoiled Pretty. So shoe shopping for me is usually an exercise in futility.

So when I need a new pair of kicks, I like to hit up DSW - where I am free to try on shoes to my heart's content. No joke, there have been times when I've tried on 100 pairs of shoes, only to walk out of the store empty-handed. That's how hard to fit my feet are.

But yesterday, I visited my local DSW (in Willow Grove, PA) and made out like a bandit! Check out my footwear windfall:

Steve Madden Hoop Suede Flat Ankle Boot, $49.95 (originally $75)

Blowfish Fantum Zippered Cuff Boot, $59.95 (originally $79)

Steve Madden Stella Pointed Toe Ruffle Flat, $44.95 (originally $65)

Anne Klein Basha Dress Flat, $34.95 (originally $79)

As if these prices weren't mind-blowing enough, I also cashed in a DSW Rewards coupon I received in honor of my birthday (which is this Thursday).

Hello, Luvah: Chinese Laundry Brazen Studded Platform Sandal

All winter long, I was crushing on Gucci's Babouska Studded Booties. But given their $995 price tag, the feelings were unrequited. This spring, the shoe gods have smiled on me because I just snapped up a pair of Chinese Laundry's Brazen Studded Platform Sandals, for just $54.95 at DSW!

The width is just perfect and the fit runs true to size. And, because the shoe has a platform sole, the 5" heel is surpisingly comfortable...even for a stilleto tenderfoot like me.

Just imagine how hot these heels are going to look with every LBD hanging in your closet!
