Mila Kunis, drama queen

The Book of Eli set was "too dirty" she says. Dancing seven days a week for the forthcoming Black Swan was far too physically demanding.
But while Kunis might not be in the best possible mood today, it's clear the 26-year-old actor is acutely aware of how fortunate she is.

After eight years and 200 episodes playing the vain and selfish Jackie Burkhart in TV sitcom That '70s Show, Kunis played the romantic foil in hit comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall in 2008.

Since then she's appeared in comic book adaptation Max Payne, made an unforgettable cameo in Date Night, and plays the female lead in the post-apocalyptic western The Book of Eli, opposite Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman.

Given many had pigeonholed her as just another cute comic actress, it seems she's defied the odds to jump between disparate genres.
"I got lucky," Kunis says, talking rapid-fire during an interview in Los Angeles.

"There are a lot of actors out there who can do many things but people just don't want to trust them. People just want to put you in a bubble because it's easier that way." Kunis says she owes Judd Apatow a debt of gratitude for taking a big chance to cast her in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
